Electronics Manufacturers Association of Oregon: EMA Oregon
Author: Laura Zager, Ph.D
Patent Attorney, EMA Board Member/EMA Mentor
The Oregon Electronics Manufacturers Association (EMA) has been serving the electronics community in Oregon for over 40 years and continues to provide resources and community during this unprecedented health crisis.
One of our strongest offerings is our Mentorship Program, which provides our members with access to professionals in a number of technical and strategic areas. They offer decades of cumulative experience and help our member companies take a fresh and informed approach to new challenges.
The EMA’s monthly events will resume this July with a series of webinars and online mini-seminars. Our first will be a roundtable discussion on “How has business changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic?” It will be a moderated opportunity for participants to share perspectives and best practices as COVID-19 unfolds around us. Future events in the pipeline include webinars on various topics on business, manufacturing, supply chain, and other subject matter areas useful to our industry.
If you are engaged with electronics manufacturing in the Pacific Northwest, right now is a great time to become a member of the EMA. With so much uncertainty in the world, the EMA provides a platform for connecting with other like-minded professionals, networking, and engaging in open discussions that are critical to success.
