Road Trips
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory

Cost: Free
Tours at the JPL Public Services Office are free of charge for groups and individuals on an advanced reservation basis. Tours commonly include a multimedia presentation on JPL. Guest may also visit von Karman Visitor Center, the Space Flight Operations Facility, and the Spacecraft Assembly Facility.
Tours start at 1:00 pm and last between 2-2.5 hours. Walking distance is about 0.8 miles with multiple flights of stairs.
Ford Rouge Plant
Dearborn, MI

Cost: Adults $18.00; Kids $13.50
Tours begin with a 15 – 20 minute bus ride from The Henry Ford Rouge Factory Tour Visitor Center. Other attractions are available on site; Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, Greenfield Village, & the Giant Screen Experience for additional admission fees.

Guided factory tours depart every 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the season. Last factory tour leaves 45 minutes before closing. Guests should allow 90 minutes to enjoy the full tour. In addition to the tour factory, Louisville Slugger offers interactive exhibits and amazing artifacts along with daily programming.
